Shani Pride was born and raised in Los Angeles. She gravitated towards the arts at an early age and chose to attend the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. After LACHSA, she attended UCLA Theater School, studied and performed abroad in Italy, and began performing in film and television. She garnered critical acclaim for her work on MTV’s THE REAL WORLD MOVIE, co-starred in LOVE DON’T COST A THING (with Nick Cannon, Christina Milian and Steve Harvey), has done a substantial amount of work on television shows like CSI:MIAMI, CHARMED, BOSTON PUBLIC, STRONG MEDICINE, JUST FOR KICKS, HANG TIME, and ONE WORLD, has a slew of independent films under her belt, including LOVE STINKS, TRU LOVED, LEGACY, and APARTMENT A, and has starred in over a dozen national commercial campaigns, including AT&T, MC DONALDS, BEST BUY, VERIZON, and T J MAX.

Most recently Shani booked the new Fox show THE FINDER, starred in the HBO produced series FEMME FATALES (which will air first quarter of 2012), starred in the hit series WEEDS, and was in the breakout show AMERICAN HORROR STORY.

With her drive, talent and outstanding support system in place, Shani is well on her way to reaching all the goals that she and her team envision for her.
